Hearth in collaboration with Primal has created a pizza that we are calling "the mushroom trip" It is pickled Chanterelles, garlic sauteed mushrooms, aged cheddar and buttermilk mornay and pickled shallots. A portion of sales is being donated to CHEP Good Food inc. and the work they do to support food security for children and our community. Kindred Plates is an innovative dinner series that celebrates kinship, inspiration, and connections shared by chefs. This one-of-a-kind dinner experience is hosted over two nights, giving guests the unique opportunity to sample creations by some of the best chefs in the country. Hosted by Beth Rogers & Thayne Robstad of Hearth Restaurant,and Christie Peters & Kyle Michael of Primal and POP. Kindred Plates will feature Michelin starred Chef Gus Stieffenhofer-Brandson of Published on Main in Vancouver, Chef Mandel Hitzer of Deer & Almond in Winnipeg, and Chef Taszia Thakur of Calories and Pique in Saskatoon. The dinner is held in the beautiful Remai Modern art gallery overlooking the South Saskatchewan River.
